I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again, as a financial advisor, you face fierce levels of competition. To combat this, your marketing activities need to be first class. In this blog post, I look at the most common marketing problems faced by Financial Advisors and how to combat them.
Getting people to visit your website
As a Financial Adivsor, digital marketing might not be at the top of your skills list. So if you don’t know your SEO from your PPC, how do you get traffic to your website? You need to create engaging content that’s relevant to your target market that’s search engine optimised and keyword rich so it’s easily found.
Use data to generate leads
By using Google Analytics, you’ll be able to gather data on how vistors to your website are interacting with your page. You’ll be able to see how they’re reaching your website, the pages their visiting, how long they’re spending on each page and where they’re leaving. Through looking at their online behaviour you’ll be able to deliver the most relevant content to your audience.
Focus on conversion rate optimisation
Conversion rate optimisation focuses on converting your website traffic into leads. Identity what you want your visitors to do – whether that be to leave their contact details, sign up to receive your newsletter or book a meeting, find the best ways to optimise your website so that you can push visitors into taking these actions.
